A deep family interest leads to an endowment at Harvard Business School

We are the 14th generation in a long line of North American business families and over the years, we’ve been fortunate enough to have a family member interested in documenting our history along the way. We have therefore been able to learn from the precious historical legacy of those who preceded us. This has given us deep roots and a sense of meaning, and has left us with a historical legacy that is part of our family values. That is why we felt important to continue the legacy by endowing the Historical Collections at Harvard Business School.

With its 300+ year legacy, Harvard has earned a reputation such that when Harvard impacts a field of study, the tide rises for all boats, no matter where they are. As an institution, it is very much a global mover and shaker. Harvard Business School also houses one of the most prestigious historical collections in the business world. What’s more, 80% of the adult members of our family have attended Harvard Business School over the past two generations, so we felt a depth of gratitude to our Alma Mater.

For all of these reasons, our family foundation is proud to have endowed the Historical Collections at Harvard Business School.
