Who we are

Founded in 1990 by Nan-b and Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien, the 
de Gaspé Beaubien Family Foundation was created to carry out the family’s mission of giving back a meaningful part of their time and assets to their communities and to the broader society in which they live and work.

Fourteen generations of the de Gaspé Beaubien family have been actively involved in politics, business and philanthropy in their respective communities.

Today, the Foundation is led by Nan-b, Philippe and their three children and spouses. Their grandchildren are also investing their time, energy and creativity into the Foundation through their water education initiative.

Over time, we have built relationships with other families in business, leading Universities, organisations and other Foundations that share our hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow.
